Tradeshow
2001
The show was
a chance to provide Daewoo's customers with an exclusive preview
of the current and forthcoming product range for both brown and
white goods.
Daewoo have
invested heavily over the last year in research and development
for all areas of the business. This investment has enabled Daewoo
to develop innovative and stylish products to cater for all areas
of the market.
Daewoo officially
launched several products at the show. This included the new Ultra
V microwave, 32" and 28" real flat TV, 29" Widescreen,
new VCR range and also new DVD players. The show was also used as
an opportunity to push recently released products such as the 42"
Plasma screen, Home Cinema kit and 28" Widescreen in to the
limelight.
Both shows received
a positive response from all who attended. Bryan Eley at CBS Television
said, "This was a more professional show than any of the previous
years and the product range Daewoo has to offer has become more
extensive and upmarket. This allows CBS a greater breadth of product
to offer their customers and fill their customer needs. The product
remains competitive in the market place against other manufacturers.
Daewoo are definitely moving in the right direction".
Simon Drought,
General Sales Manager at DESUK said, "I’m delighted with
the response we have had from our tradeshows. It has given us the
opportunity to showcase innovative products such as the sterilising
microwaves, the plasma display panel and our pure flat range. The
show has also given us the chance to reaffirm our commitment to
our independent dealers".
